We believe that with the right policies and practices, incidents in the workplace are preventable and have implemented various systems to keep our staff and guests safe.


Each operations department has a manager in-charge to carefully monitor accidents, provide safety directions and work to exceed health and safety expectations of RIOS.

Our incident rate is far below the industry average, and we continue to work towards making our organisation a leader in employee health and safety. To achieve this goal, our team is continuously monitoring our processes and procedures - everyone at Gold Star Metals is accountable for the safety of each other in our work environment.


Health and Safety is a shared responsibility at Gold Star Metals; training programs are held consistently to ensure risk is kept to a minimum at all Gold Star facilities. Additionally, all metal processing and treatment is carried out in an utmost safe manner that exceeds the current expectations and regulations placed by the law. Our safety training and safety meetings are scheduled weekly, quarterly and on a yearly basis.
